TERMS & CONDITIONS

Customer orders are originals designed from your creative input, interpreted in a Red Coat Cake style. They are accepted with the understanding that you trust all creative decisions during production to our design team.

All goods remain the property of Red Coat Cake until paid in full. No refund or credit can be requested for any goods returned after 7 days without prior consent. NO RETURN OF ANY FOOD ITEM IS ALLOWED DUE TO GOVT REGS. 

Red Coat Cake will not be held responsible for any missing goods or damages incurred during transit. Purchasers requiring this assurance must arrange their own transportation.

Product Info

As all our products are made by hand on the day, the final product will vary every time. Please bear in mind that the images on our website are for display purpose only and are not fully representative of the end product.

Storage

The following storage methods are our best suggestions, but our products are always best on day of purchase. All products should be stored in air-tight containers

Cupcakes. 

Do not refrigerate. Cupcakes should be fine within 24 hours of purchase.

Cakes. 

Only refrigerate if storing longer than 24 hours. All cakes should be taken out of the fridge two hours before serving for best flavour.

Dietary Info

  • Please note that although a product may not contain nuts, all items are made in a kitchen that handles nuts.
  • All products are suitable for vegetarians, except for those containing marshmallow (gelatin).
  • We do not use animal fats.
  • All our items contain eggs.
  • Our items are not suitable for vegans unless otherwise stated.
  • All our products contain gluten, with the exception of our “Baby Bombs” and unless otherwise requested. Please speak to us about gluten free options for all of our products
  • We do not use animal-derived food colours.
  • Although care is taken at every stage of our baking processes, sometimes a piece of eggshell, a fruit stone, fruit skin or other ingredient from the recipe can find its way into our cakes.

Ordering Info 

Minimum Orders

All our cupcakes are minimum orders of 12 and can be ordered in multiples of 12. These quantities are specified so that we can best serve as many people as possible.

Notification

  • Our online system provides you with the ability to pre order cupcakes in advance for pickup and delivery.
  • Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are our busiest days. We recommend that orders for these days are placed at least a week in advance to avoid disappointment.
  • Online orders can be placed no later than 12pm the day before the order is required (subject to kitchen availability).
  • Please note that full payment is required upfront on placing special orders.
  • If you notice an error in the Order Confirmation you must notify us by email by 12.00 noon the day before the order is due to be collected or delivered.
  • If you wish to cancel your order for any reason, you must notify us by telephone before 12:00 noon the day before your order was due to be picked up. To cancel a delivery order, please contact by telephone before 12:00 noon the day before your order was due to be delivered. If your order is over $100, you must notify us at least 48 hours before your order is due to be collected or delivered. A refund will only be made to the same credit card with which your order was placed.

Pick up & Deliveries

  • All orders can be collected between 10am to 6pm. 
  • We offer a personal delivery service 7 days a week from 10am to 6pm with an additional flat fee of $20 for inner Metro Melbourne. An additional fee may be charged for orders further out.
  • Please note if your order is likely to be intercepted (e.g. a post room, reception or security), its arrival with you/the recipient may be delayed and is beyond the control of our delivery drivers. If you are sending this order as a gift, we recommend you contact the recipient so that they can liaise with their post room in order to receive their cakes as soon as possible. 

Phone Orders

  • Please note that we are unable to take credit card payments for orders over the phone. This is to protect genuine customers and help prevent fraudulent purchases being made with credit cards
  • Payments for telephone orders can be made in the following ways:
  •  An invoice will be issued via email and payment is required prior to proceeding with this order.
